TRACE is also building close relationships with the eight schools of study at Bath Spa University.
Each of these schools has a strong internal research culture. The schools house their own research centres and groups, and they collaborate on a project-by-project basis with the strategic research centres.
TRACE adjusts its approach to working with the schools to meet the needs of each department. This may involve working directly with the Head of the Department, working with individual researchers, collaborating with research groups on an event, providing specialist support for students on research projects, or attending department away days. The focal point for collaboration is usually around the theme of ‘Transcultural Creativity and Education’, and/or connecting researchers to opportunities to develop their writing. We have appointed Associate Directors in some schools to advise us on our future direction, and help us build connections.
